Vegas Girlfriend explores what it means to be haunted by your past. What does healing look like on the Vegas Strip?

This is Douglas’s first collaboration with Brooklyn-based producer Katy Rea and neo-classical composer Hannah Epperson, whose string arrangements propel this acerbic track.

Kate's background in theater writing informs her lyric-driven, surrealist approach to indie pop, evoking artists such as Lizzy McAlpine, Mitski, Maggie Rogers, and Florence + The Machine. You can hear her rock-noir collaboration with Shayfer James, The Ninth Hour, streaming on all platforms.
